Filtered Water Bottle

Fill, carry and drink clear fresh water from one bottle with a built-in mechanical filter.

Part of your Kapsel Water & Health capsule.

  • Integrated mechanical water filter
  • Replaceable filter cartridge
  • One bottle instead of separate containers and treatment steps

From taps, lakes or streams, it keeps clean drinking water within reach through seven days without power, water or heat.

The filtered bottle sits in the Water & Health capsule, which covers drinking water and hygiene when the tap stops or the water has to be boiled. A bottle gives you clean water to drink, but it neither lights a room, heats a meal nor dresses a wound.

The component

What it is, and why it is in the system

Kapsel Filtered Water Bottle is a drinking bottle with an integrated mechanical water filter. You fill the bottle with clear fresh water from tap, lake, river or spring and drink through the mouthpiece while the inline filter mechanically treats the water. It is included in the Kapsel System to give you a simple all-in-one way to carry and filter water when normal supply is disrupted. The bottle combines container and treatment so you can fill once, move and drink without setting up separate filters.

Use

How to use it

Use the filtered water bottle once in calm conditions so the flow, taste and handling feel familiar before you rely on it during outdoor trips or disruptions.
  1. Before first use, fill the bottle with clean water, fit the lid and flush at least 500 ml through the filter to rinse it. Discard or spit out the first water.
  2. For normal use, fill the bottle with clear fresh water from tap, lake, river or spring. Do not use seawater, chemically contaminated water, industrial waste or water that smells strongly or looks abnormal.
  3. Close the lid securely and drink through the mouthpiece. Keep the mouthpiece clean and avoid touching it with dirty hands or surfaces.
  4. When you have finished using the bottle, empty remaining water, blow excess water out through the mouthpiece and allow the filter and bottle to air-dry open.
  5. Protect a wet filter from freezing. If the filter has been wet and exposed to freezing temperatures, replace it – do not use a frozen filter again.
  6. Replace the filter cartridge when you reach the designed capacity, if the flow rate becomes very low even after flushing, or if taste, odour or colour change noticeably.
  7. The filtered water bottle is designed with a replaceable filter cartridge. Replace the filter when it reaches its designed capacity, has been wet and frozen, or shows damage, discolouration, off-odour or very low flow. Bottle and cap can continue to be used when you install a new compatible filter cartridge.

Scenarios

When you will need it

Use the filtered water bottle whenever you need to carry and drink clear fresh water and want an integrated treatment step rather than separate bottles and filters.
  • Outdoor use and daily travel: Fill the bottle from taps, lakes or streams during hikes, commuting or cabin stays. The filter adds a layer of protection when you are away from your normal drinking water, as long as the water is clear and not chemically contaminated.
  • Short-term disruptions at home: Keep the bottle in your Kapsel bag so you can fill it from clear collected water or trusted alternative sources if your normal tap water is temporarily unavailable. Combine with boiling or purification tablets when risk is higher.
  • Car, office and cabin kits: Place an extra filtered water bottle in Kapsel Systems you keep in your car, office or countryside house so each location has its own way to carry and filter water.
  • Backup for groups: Use the filtered bottle as a shared backup that complements personal filter straws. The bottle lets you prepare larger volumes that can be poured into cups or containers for others.
