Kapsel Soap Paper is a cosmetic hand cleansing product in the form of solid soap sheets packed in a portable plastic case. You place one or two sheets in wet hands, rub with water until the sheet dissolves and lather forms, then rinse your hands thoroughly. It is made for mild cleansing of hands in everyday situations. In real disruptions the basic problem is often simple. You want to wash your hands before eating, after using the toilet or after helping someone – but the only sink you find has no soap or only a dirty dispenser. Soap Paper is included in the Kapsel System to give you a reliable, packable way to wash your hands with a small amount of water. It supports everyday hygiene and helps you keep routines around food, toilet visits and first aid when you are at home without power, on the road or staying somewhere temporarily.

How to use it

Test the soap paper at home so you know how many sheets you need and how it feels in your hands, then repack the case in your Water & Health capsule so it is ready when you actually need it.

Open the case and take out one to two soap sheets with dry fingers.
Wet your hands with water.
Place the sheets in your wet hands and rub until they dissolve and lather forms.
Wash all parts of your hands – palms, backs of hands, between fingers and around thumbs – for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse your hands thoroughly with clean water and dry them, for example with your Kapsel Microfiber Towel or paper towels.
Close the case properly after use and store it dry in your Water & Health capsule.

When you will need it

Use Kapsel Soap Paper whenever you need to wash your hands with water and you are not sure if there will be liquid soap available – at rest stops, shelters, temporary accommodation, cabins or during power and water disruptions at home. It works best together with a small water source such as your filtered water bottle, filter straw or another clean water container.

Power cut or water disruption at home – you have limited hot water but still want to wash hands after toilet visits and before food. You use Soap Paper with a small amount of stored or filtered water.
Travel, cabins and road trips – public bathrooms and cabins sometimes lack soap. The small case lives in your Kapsel so you have your own supply for the whole trip.
Evacuations and shelters – in crowded conditions shared soap can run out quickly. Soap Paper helps you wash your hands properly with less waiting and less dependency on what the shelter provides.
