Built to last
The bag is made from 1000D Cordura nylon 6.6 at 320 gsm, the same fabric grade used in field equipment built for daily abuse. It is PU-coated to a 1500 mm water column, so contents stay dry through rain and snow.
Hardware is UTX, the buckles and adjusters trusted on professional load-bearing gear. Nothing here is chosen to hit a price. Each part is chosen to survive the moment it is needed.

One system covers a household of one to three people for seven days, the level of self-sufficiency the Swedish civil defence authority recommends. At four or more people, two systems carry the load.
The base bag holds three 9 L capsules inside and mounts two more on the sides, so the system grows with the household rather than forcing a second purchase later.

Then you already know the hard part is knowing what is missing. Kapsel is a documented system. Every component carries a register number and a reason for being there, so the gaps become visible instead of assumed. Plenty of people keep what they own and buy the system for the structure around it.

Why seven days?
The Swedish Agency for Civil Defence recommends that every household can manage without help from society for at least a week. Not a weekend, not three days. That is the benchmark the system is built to.
Where is it made?
The bag and the capsules are made by an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer that also supplies Volvo and the Swedish Armed Forces. Assembly and quality inspection happen in Boras, Sweden.
How long does the contents last?
Most components last between two and five years. We remind you twice a year when it is time to check the consumables, so nothing quietly expires in the hallway.
Does it work in an apartment?
Yes, that is what it was designed for. It takes about the same space as a backpack and is built to be left in view rather than hidden in a loft.
What if I need to cover more people?
The system is modular. For one to three people a single Core handles it and the Personal and Shelter capsule scales per person. From four people a second Core is added for full redundancy.
What is your return policy?
