Built to last
The System Bag is sewn from 1000D Cordura nylon 6.6 with a PU coating that sheds rain and snow, and a rain cover for heavier weather. Buckles, straps and zips are chosen to be used, because each part has to hold on the day it's needed.

Does it arrive ready-packed?
No, it arrives unpacked. You pack the capsules yourself with the handbook, step by step. That way you know what is there and where everything is when you need it.
Are food and water included?
Food is not included, and neither is a water container. A water filter bottle for each person and a water filter straw are included, so you can purify water. Food and drinking water to store you buy yourself, based on what your household eats and drinks.
Can we remove what we already have?
Yes, in Customise your preparedness you choose the parts yourself. You start with the bag and capsules and add what you are missing. The complete system is priced as a whole, and on their own each part has its own price, so you see your selection and the complete system side by side before you decide.
Why seven days?
The Swedish Agency for Civil Defence recommends that every household can manage without help from society for at least a week. Not a weekend, not three days. That is the benchmark the system is built to.
How long does the contents last?
Most components last between two and five years. We remind you twice a year when it is time to check the consumables, so nothing gets too old while the system stands in the hallway.
Does it work in an apartment?
Yes, that is what it was designed for. It takes about the same space as a backpack and is built to be left in view rather than hidden in a loft.
What if I need to cover more people?
Each person gets a personal set, and the household shares the rest. For one to three people one system bag is enough. From four people, two system bags are included in the same purchase, with two of everything you share.
What is your return policy?
Thirty days to change your mind. Send back what you have not used and you get your money back, return shipping included. Write to hello@kapselsystem.com and we will sort it.
Can I buy for a company or a housing association?

I already have some of this at home
Then you already know the hard part is knowing what is missing. Kapsel is a documented system. Every component carries a register number and a reason for being there, so you can see what's missing instead of guessing. Plenty of people keep what they own and buy the system for the structure around it.
Will I actually know how to use it?
A printed handbook walks you through every capsule, each component is labelled with its place, and short films show the ones that need showing. It works without power, signal or internet, and that's exactly when you need it.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days. Send back what you have not used and you get your money back, return shipping included. Preparedness you regret buying is not preparedness, so we would rather you had it at home for a month than wondered about it for a year.
