Microfiber towel for emergency preparedness, quick drying and compact

Microfiber Towel

149 SEK

A quick-dry microfiber towel for body, hands and gear, so you stay warm and clean at home, on trips and during disruptions.

Part of your Kapsel Personal & Shelter capsule.

  • Soft 40x40cm microfiber that dries fast and packs tiny
  • Handles body, hands and gear
  • Lives in the same place in your capsule, ready every time

Through seven days without power, water or heat, you always have a clean, fast-drying towel on hand.

The towel lives in the Personal & Shelter capsule, the part that makes hygiene possible once the hot water is gone. A towel is cheap and useful, but it is not preparedness by itself: that takes water, light, warmth and food in the same pack.

The component

What it is, and why it is in the system

Kapsel Microfiber Towel is a reusable, quick drying towel made from soft polyester microfiber for drying body, hands and light equipment. Rinse and wash before first use, then use it like a normal towel – dry off, wring out and hang to air dry. In many real disruptions you do not have unlimited dry towels. If heating, hot water or laundry are limited, one towel that dries fast and packs small becomes more valuable than a whole stack of heavy cotton. The Microfiber Towel is included in the Kapsel System to support both warmth and hygiene – drying wet clothes or skin, keeping hands clean around food and first aid and acting as a small extra layer around neck or shoulders. It helps you stay comfortable and reduces small frustrations when the rest of the situation is already demanding.

Use

How to use it

Set up and test the towel in everyday life so you know how fast it dries, how it feels against your skin and where it lives in your Personal & Shelter capsule.
  • Rinse and machine wash the towel at 30–40 °C with similar colours before first use.
  • Use it to dry body, hands or light equipment and wring out excess water as needed.
  • After use, hang it in a well ventilated place to air dry; do not store it damp in a closed bag.
  • Wash with mild detergent only. Do not bleach, do not use fabric softener, do not iron. Tumble dry on low or line dry.

Scenarios

When you will need it

Use the Microfiber Towel whenever you need to dry off and know laundry or spare towels might be limited – during power cuts, cabin stays, travel, evacuations or just as your everyday towel so your Kapsel is always packed with a familiar piece of kit.
  • Power cut at home: Heating is off and the apartment cools down. You use the microfiber towel after washing hands or face so you do not stay damp and cold, then hang it to dry near your warmest room instead of stacking up wet cotton towels.
  • Evacuation or overnight stay away from home: You move to a friend, relative or shelter at short notice. With the towel already in your Kapsel you have your own clean, compact towel even if bathrooms are crowded or spare towels are limited.
  • Cabin, camping or road trip: You keep a Kapsel in the car or countryside house. The microfiber towel handles daily washing, a quick swim or rain soaked clothes and dries fast between uses, even when laundry facilities are basic.
  • Water or energy disruptions: If hot water or washing machine access is limited, you rely on one towel you can wash in a small load and dry quickly. The microfiber towel is designed exactly for this type of low resource situation.
  • Everyday backup: You can also use it as a gym, travel or guest towel in normal weeks. After each use, wash and repack it in your Kapsel so the system is always up to date.

Contents

What is included

  • 1 x Kapsel Microfiber Towel
  • Outer silicon packaging
Plan for at least one microfiber towel per adult you are preparing for, with an extra shared towel for children or guests. If you keep multiple Kapsel Systems in different locations, give each bag its own towel so you are not forced to move damp textiles between kits.

The system

Where it sits in the system

The Microfiber Towel lives in the Personal & Shelter capsule and supports two basic needs at once – warmth and hygiene. Together with the emergency blanket, multi tool cutlery and personal items it helps you build a small island of normal routines around washing, drying and getting comfortable, even if you are doing that by flashlight in a cold room or unfamiliar place.
