Kapsel and the voluntary defence organisations

Partnerships

Kapsel works with Swedish voluntary defence organisations. They train and inform, we build the products. The task is the same one: more households able to manage on their own when society cannot help immediately.

This page sets out which organisations we work with today, why we started there, and what a collaboration looks like in practice.

Organisations we work with

Two today, and the list is open.

Frivilliga Motorcykelkåren

A voluntary defence organisation that has trained motorcycle dispatch riders for the Home Guard for over 90 years, and civil motorcycle resources since 2022. Local chapters across the country, and the member magazine Journalen.

Frivilliga Radioorganisationen

In their own words: they staff the total defence with trained personnel in radio communication, signals protection and cyber security. The hand crank radio inside the Kapsel Core is the shortest way to explain how we ended up in the same room.

Why the voluntary defence organisations

The voluntary defence organisations carry the task of telling the public why every household needs a preparedness that works. They have done it for decades, long before household preparedness became a topic of conversation, and they do it with people who have actually practised.

Kapsel builds products for the same thing. A system for the home that covers seven days without power, water or heat. Nothing military, nothing to be hidden in the attic. That is where we meet: they explain why, we solve how.

What we contribute

The organisation buys nothing and commits to no volumes. We make the material, you decide whether and how it is used.

  • Image material for print and for web, in several formats.
  • Clean product photography if you would rather set your own layout.
  • Ready made copy for the member magazine, mailings and the web.
  • Fact checked content on household preparedness, reviewed by Oskar Björk, defence engineer.
  • Current product information, so that what you publish is accurate.
  • An answer within a day when something needs to be added.

Independently tested

Bäst i test 2026

Testproffs compared eight Swedish emergency kits and placed the Kapsel Core first, with 9.6 out of 10. One bag, three capsules and over 30 components: everything a household needs for seven days without power, water or heat.

Questions

Who does Kapsel work with?

Frivilliga Motorcykelkåren, FMCK, and Frivilliga Radioorganisationen, FRO. Both are Swedish voluntary defence organisations. The collaborations began in September 2026.

What does a collaboration involve?

We make material the organisation can use in its own channels: images for print and web, ready made copy and product information. The organisation decides what is published, and when.

Does it cost the organisation anything?

No. You buy nothing, you pay nothing and you commit to no volumes.

Why voluntary organisations in particular?

Because informing the public about household preparedness is already their assignment. They reach people who have practised the thing we build products for, long before the question reached the wider debate.

Is Kapsel military?

No. Kapsel is built for the home, and it is meant to stay where you can see it. Nothing military, nothing that needs to be hidden in the attic. Swedish design, quality checked in Sweden.

How do we get in touch?

Write to hello@kapselsystem.com and tell us briefly about your organisation and who you reach. We always reply.

Would you like to work with us?

Tell us briefly about your organisation and what you do. We will come back with a proposal for what a collaboration could look like.
